This is pretty self explanatory, but to reiterate for everyone this portion of the blog will be about me. Just like my other blogs I will post videos and posts on things that define me.
This episode features the St. Innocence Academy in one of their annual celebrations! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Things like this make Kodiak a unique place.
John, This is an invitation for you to visit us here at the Adventure Cycling office in Missoula as you make your way from Alaska to Florida. Our freezer will be full of the ice cream we give to our visiting cyclists and I'll take a photo of you with your bike for our archive.
In June of 1972 my wife, June, and I, with another couple set off from Anchorage on our bikes to ride south. You can read about the Anchorage to Missoula portion of our trip in the May, 1973, issue of National Geographic magazine.
It was a grand adventure and we are so glad we made the trek when we did. As you get older it gets harder to disconnect from routine life and launch a big journey.
